Women’s History Month is a gr8 time to amp up all things women empowerment, but we wanted to take the time to highlight 8 gr8 organizations that are impacting, uplifting and supporting girls and women all year round – Not just in March!

1. Girls On The Run
Keeping girls active while empowering them in everyday life. Girls on the Run curates inclusive, engaging, and enjoyable experiences that foster personal growth and inspire confidence in girls of all ages.
2. Girl Up
Girl Up equips young female leaders around the world with the skills, resources, and supportive community they need to drive social change and create a better future for everyone. Best of all, gr8nola founder Erica Liu Williams teamed up with five awesome girls from Girl Up and renowned TV personality Nigel Barker, to develop our PB flavor from concept to launch. To this day, 8% of PB proceeds benefit Girl Up!
3. Girls Who Code
Breaking down barriers in life and tech! Girls Who Code is an innovative gaming experience that empowers users to code characters that reflect their identity and highlight the diversity within their communities.
4. Play Like A Girl
Play Like a Girl is a nonprofit on a mission to inspire girls to step onto the traditionally male-dominated playing fields and into STEM careers – Combining the power of sports and education to fuel their potential.
5. Girls Inc.
Girls Inc. is shaping the next generation of strong, smart, and bold female leaders by providing support and championing advocacy efforts that empower girls to take charge of their futures.
6. Malala Fund
Malala Fund is a global nonprofit dedicated to advocating for girls' education, founded by Malala Yousafzai, the youngest-ever Nobel Prize laureate and a fierce advocate for female education. The organization works to ensure every girl has the opportunity to learn and lead!
7. Generation Wow
The WOW Experience is a powerful event hosted in cities nationwide, where hundreds of girls and women come together to inspire, educate, and empower one another. Founded by former WNBA president and female empowerment champion, Donna Orender, this organization is helping shape the next generation!
8. Dress For Success
Dress for Success is a global nonprofit supporting unemployed and underemployed women in their journey to economic independence. By offering no-cost career development, job readiness training, mentorship, financial education and professional attire, they equip women with the essential tools and skills to thrive in the workforce.
